Political Scientist Prof Ransford Gyampo has criticized President Akufo-Addo for not listening to Ghanaians as far as reshuffling of his appointees is concerned.
It may be recalled that President Akufo-Addo, on February 7, 2023; nominated K.T Hammond (MP for Adansi Asokwa) as the minister-designate for Trade and Industry and Bryan Acheampong (MP for Abetifi) as the minister-designate for Food and Agriculture.
Stephen Asamoah Boateng (Asabee) is heading to the Ministry of Chieftaincy; Mohammed Amin Adam is the Minister of State at the Ministry of Finance and Osei Bonsu Amoah is the Minister of State for Local Government.
Stephen Amoah, popularly known as Sticka the Member of Parliament for Nhyiaeso, was also appointed a Deputy Minister-designate for Trade and Industry.
Herbert Krapah, previously the deputy Trade Minister was also moved to the Energy Ministry with the same rank.
Prof Gyampo speaking to this in an interview on Neat FM's Me Man Nti programme said it's 'disrespectful' to ignore the call of Ghanaians "who voted for you" and rather "fill in the gaps" in your government.
"President Akufo-Addo is the only one who has not been able to make any reshuffle...Even J.J Rawlings (late former President) who didn't believe in multiparty democracy listened. They (NPP) claim to have the men but with what is going on...Ghanaians have been calling for a reshuffle for so long and what he did was to fill in the gap which is not reshuffle. This intransigence about the call for a reshuffle by the President is quite disrespectful to the good people of Ghana..." he said.

Gyampo, A political professor in a prestigious university who cannot propound any modern political theory. Even journalist without political science degree do better political analysis than you. Such ***barred word*** submission will come from a lecturer who prey on innocent university girls.
The President might have some weaknesses towards those he trusts in his administration, but he knows what he promised Ghanaians during his campaigns, and we all bear witness’s to the hard works of this government, even though we all understand that things are hard but the needs of Ghanaians since independence are being met gradually by this government, and he needs those he can trust 100 percent in delivering to Ghanaians, because changes can disrupt the progress of his government.
Gyampo, Governance is not a lecture hall as Try and Error is INVALID. Even Council of State whom constitution recognize only advise not to command. By the way, the president hear many opinions not those like your type who can make noises. His Excellency The President Listens But Such Advises are not a command as all leaders must be strong and focus.
