Coach of Berekum Chelsea Hans Van der Pluijm said his side had the best part of the Caf Champions League fixture against Al Ahly, but they were just not lucky.
The Ghanaians managed a 1-1 draw game against the Egyptian giants thanks to Jordan Opokus equaliser at the Accra Sports Stadium on Sunday.
Coach Pluijm believes they could have carried the day if luck had knocked on their doors.
We played a good game, the Dutchman told Goal.com Ghana after the game. Luck was not on our side. We played against a very strong team and Im happy we didnt lose.
Were still in the race, but we just have to take our next two games seriously. I believe in my boys and I know we can go further.
He added: Im happy with the support from Ghanaians and we are really encouraged by the prayers we are receiving from everyone as if it is the Black Stars playing.
