Tickets for the cancelled friendly between Ghana and Nigeria in London would be refunded in full, match organiser has told GHANAsoccernet.com.
The decision to cancel Tuesdays fixture followed a third night of riots that spread throughout London.
Fans of both sides bought tickets for the game at the Vicarage Road stadium hoping to see their best players in action.
But they were hit with news, hours before the game, that their safety could not be guaranteed which prompted the decision to cancel the match.
Now the match organisers have assured fans that they will get a full refund of their monies for the ticket.
Talks are underway for Ghana to play Nigeria in London next month and if a deal is agreed, tickets for the cancelled friendly could be used for the game.
Hundreds of fans travelled from Ghana and Nigeria to watch the match but they have also been left disappointed as they seek to return home.
Fans of the two countries living in London were also disappointed that the match did not take place but understand the decision to call the match off.
