Barring any hitches, Vice President and the Presidential candidate of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Dr Mahamudu Bawumia will soon be addressing the nation to indicate his vision and plan for the country.
Kabila's bit
James Kwabena Bonfeh, former General Secretary of the Convention People's Party (CPP), during Wednesday's edition of 'Kokrokoo' urged Dr Bawumia to articulate his vision for the country.
Kabila as he is popularly called claims it's taken the flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) too long to do so.
"...between November 4 and January 17; it's too long a time not to have stated that vision" he uttered.'
Sammi Awuku, the Chief Executive Officer of the National Lottery Authority (NLA), speaking to this on Peace FM's morning show 'Kokrokoo' clarified that it is incorrect to assume that the Vice President has become more relaxed after being elected as the flagbearer
"He's preparing towards speaking to the nation 7th February and it will set the tone for what will define his presidency when elected. It's expected that he will lay his broader plan and vision for Ghana. He's also expected to speak on where we are and where we are going as well as the economy. The speech will also capture ideas that will be in the manifesto...Clearly, we have a job to perform and a task to deliver" he indicated.

This man oh daabi da . No one is telling him what really is on the ground and so he’s getting carried by those people who only think about their bellies . Oh GOD. Like seriously
@Jody we have heard the same tsupid and uzless arguments you are advancing countless times but you should have done your conscience some good if you had the integrity to add Ghana's current debt for objective analysis. Was it only Ghana affected by covid-19 or the the Rissia-Ukraine war is being fought with Ghana funds? If not how did Ghana earn the unenviable record of having had the worst performing currency in the world, second only to Sri Lanka. Free SHS you mean.? You really don't know what you're talking about. Under this so-called Free Shs it takes a minimum of GHC6400 to send a first year student to your free SHS. If you care to know there are 137000 students who could not take up their placements in school because of financial difficulties on the part of their parents. This figure represents only the Western North cocoa-growing areas You think Ghanians will buy your cheap propaganda? And did l hear you say you fixed dumsor? So what we have been experiencing for the last couple of weeks is what? Bawumia has nothing Ghanaians want to hear He should as usual address Tescon and pretend that's Ghana! Such congenital liar without any iota of integrity. Ghanaians are wiser than you think, wai.
The usual hype is on again. What new is he coming to say? Ghana card or what. He has the opportunity now he should not tell us he is now looking for power to correct things.
@NS you say what? If it was $1 = Ghc1 you'd congratulate him? As you say you're NDC let me remind you that when Kufuor handed over power to your people in 2008 it was $1 = Ghc0.9 but by the time they left in 2016 it was $1 = Ghc4.26. That's a depreciation of 78.9%. This is with oil discovery handed over to NDC, HIPC debt forgiveness and no international crisis. You left power in 2016 with dumsor, a debt of $22 Billion and take or pay contracts (costing the nation $1 billion/year) This government came to fix that mess and pay the power providers, pay the interest on your loans as well as the loans that had matured, started free SHS and kept the lights on. Covid hit and Ukrain war hit. Even with all that, depreciation of the Cedi is at 68%. Give us a break with your nonfa!
What is he going to say? he should keep quite so that people dot insult him. A certified lier and a fake economist
When a man is worth his salt there is no need to address any Nation. Imagine $1= Ghc1 Exchange Rate and tell me if there will be a need to even campaign. I am NDC but I believed so much in NPP and Bawumia in 2016. What makes NPP failure so abysmal is not the failure itself but the failure compared to the magnitude of belief we all had in Bawumia. Infact I jokingly tell people even H.E Mahama was convinced in 2016 that Bawumia is the right choice. Now after fcuking up everything you want to address. Ab3g go address your goats, cows, dogs and Samira and let us think how to manage our $1=Ghc12.30 Exchange Rate micro economies..... rabish.
What exactly is he going to tell Ghanaians? Is he going to address the failed economy that he spearheaded or what they are doing to solve the hardship Ghanaians. What Ghanaians would like to hear from him are the solutions to over 170 questions that he posed to former vice president Amissah Arthur. He can never exonerate himself from the failed economy as he is so complicit in the mess. He can go ahead and address the NPP faithfuls but not Ghanaians because nobody is interested in his usual rhetorics.
