The Chief Executive Officer of the Intercity State Transport Corporation (STC) has scolded the Member of Parliament for Korle Klottey over some comments made following the approval of six ministerial nominees in Parliament.
Dr. Zenator Rawlings reacting after some of her colleagues on the Minority side joined the Majority in a secret balloting which saw the approval of all the nominees, said her late father, Jerry John Rawlings "would probably have challenged all of us [NDC MPs] to go and swear on Antoa or dared us to take a lie-detector test!”
The Korle Klottey MP who was disappointed in the outcome described as “cowardice” the decision by the NDC MPs to vote in favour of the appointees.
Speaking to this on Peace FM's morning show 'Kokrokoo', Nana Akomea rebuked her, questioning: "did your father ever take an issue to antoa . . . in his 20-year reign did he ever go to Antoa?
"She should stop what she is saying before it triggers other issues . . . let your father rest in peace," he added.

This girl may not be privy to the atrocities committed by her late father thus the reason she keeps referring to her father. Ghanaians are too godly thus their ' forget and let it go' attitude. If not you will never have gotten space to be identifying with your father. Acheampong, Akuffo, Odartey Willington, Amedume, Felli, Boakye, Afrifa, the 3 high court judges, the lots of makola women traders who were murdered also had daughters. Your father never wished that these daughters of murdered Ghanaians grow the reason he contributed to making them orphans. Go back and read your father's history properly, he was a nobody, in the army he was a junior officer, and lieutenant in the Ghana army who respects himself will not go far 'yoko gari ' on credit. Any lieutenant in the Ghana army who knows his left from right will not go and take old aircraft seats to furnish his room. This should tell you how reckless your father was. He succeeded in using other junior officers to stage a coup from which you also became 'some bodies'. Go and learn family history. Didn't your grandfather had a family? When was the last time your father visited them during his life time? And you, when was the last time you went to Scotland in search of your father's family.? This alone should tell you something.
The name Rawlings reminds Ghanaians of the killing of three judges and the evil he did against his political opponents; he would not have qualified to be on the premises of Antoa, let alone ask it to administer justice. In this regard, I would like to advise Ghanaians who have the opportunity to be on the public platform at any given time to be aware that Ghanaians are forgiving but very sensitive and contemptuous when they are lied to. I believe the mighty Antoa would have preferred to punish Rawlings for misusing his name.
