National Communications Officer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) says his party will at least save some resources if Vice-President Dr Mahamudu Bawumia is chosen to lead the NPP in the 2024 presidential election.
According to Sammy Gyamfi, he will be the “happiest person in this world” if the ‘Mahama-Bawumia’ presidential contest comes to reality.
“The work on campaigning will be easier for us [NDC]. We will not waste time and funds on campaigning. We’ll only be playing back his [BAwumia’s] own promises to Ghanaians,” he said on NEAT FM’s Me Man Nti political talk show.
Sammy Gyamfi is very optimistic the NDC will regain power in 2024 but a Bawumia ticket for the NPP will make it a ‘cool chop’ for them.
“No Ghanaian will want to vote for a liar like Bawumia as president,” he asserted.

You have said it all.
What is your policy alternative message? Ghanaians are wiser now oooo. We want to hear what you have for us/ It is not about Bawumia or other persons. We know you and how you lied to us about one-time-premium of NHIS. 2024 is just about 2yrs away!
Poor attendance of last week Demo that you organized under the disguise of the atitinkoranaq son Martin Kpebu should serve you people as a warning. The dollar can go to Gch 50 we will still vote for NPP. If you are dreaming of becoming rich overnight like Ofosu Kwakye, Okudjato Ablakwa,Stan Dogbe, Elvis Afriyie Ankrah, Fiifi Kwetey etc, then shelve that ambition. You and your party will loose 2024 elections. You can bring all the Indian gods to this country as you did bring spiritualist from Gambia, Niger and Mali in the 2020 elections.
Am shocked still from 2016 to now and the umbrella family allowing Sam Gyamfi to keep them in opposition with his immature communication and arrogance and this is what will let yaanom break de 8 for real. Politics is politricks.
But do you have a message at all? You don't have that is why you want to rely on somebody's alleged failures! Remember Ghanaians have decided that you are not alternative
Sammy Gyamfi do start putting down better policies for the Ghanaian ppl, you will cry maa! maa! after the 2024 elections.
There is something fundamentally wrong about how speculation or perception is relied upon to take hold of real facts when you hear some academics, lawyers, and politicians make certain statements to argue out their stances at the expense of informed opinions. I believe there is a lot of intellectual dishonesty in our political space in Ghana. Or do we make incorrect assumptions? We wrongly measure the intellect of people by their level of proficiency in the Queen's language. When such people fail to effectively or intellectually communicate their views, they tend to be insulting and spew lies. Unfortunately, such characters abound in the NDC and their cohorts in the paid press. They are the elements that have jumped on the president, calling him names and hurling insults at him after his candid address. The Ghanaian economy has structural problems that are inherited from our colonial past. There is a lot of intellectual dishonesty here when you hear some pundits of the economics speak about the current challenges as if they are solely the result of the mess of the Akufo-Addo administration, if there is any at all. Meanwhile, the Akufo-Addo administration is the only one in the Fourth Republic to have made a concerted effort to target the structural deficit of the economy. Specifically, FSHS, 1D1F, and the railroad infrastructure, just to name a few. However, the Kufuor administration laid some remarkable trails. The same cannot be said of any NDC administration making a targeted policy to resolve the structural problems except vilification of its political opponents. Ghana beyond the aid agenda is a policy direction, and some dishonest elements seek to ridicule it as a mere slogan. By the way, Ghana's tourism has realized a remarkable boost in the recent times of the Akufo-Administration. The president made it clear in his speech that we are in crisis, and I see the pandemic and the Ukraine war as the last straw that broke the camel’s back given our unsustainable economic structures.
nkwasia keka seiyaa na NDC atena opposition biom in 2025. This small could be NDC's waterloo again in the 2024 elections.......
Defeatist Statement.
