The Chief Executive Officer of the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), Henry Kokofu, has expressed profound gratitude to Ghanaians for enduring the current economic hardships.
Speaking on Peace FM's "Kokrokoo" morning show, Mr. Kokofu admitted that Ghana is saddled with huge economic challenges but was however appreciative that despite the economic crises of the nation, the citizens continue to show resilience.
"We must thank Ghanaians. The average Ghanaian has resilience. The average Ghanaian has patience. The average Ghanaian knows how to endure hardships. An average Ghanaian knows this is his/her only country, so we must all unite in times of difficulties and find solutions," he said.
He was hopeful the Akufo-Addo administration is on track to finding a lasting solution to them.
He believed the President is working hard around the clock to better the lives of the citizenry and called on them to remain patient.

First the president must call on the citizens to come together fight together to come out of this. Stop increasing even local goods ,use what is Process and use made in Ghana goods . We have good land for farming ,let us go into large farming and grow all basic food crops .Produce our own medicine is the next . Transportation is one important thing of the economy .Lucky we have some crude ,let the refinery work , so some BDCs can buy locally no need of dollars .No pressure on the dollar .Government must help industries own by Ghanaians and not pressure Ghanaians with to many taxes. Foreigners must pay the right taxes. Things that lead to waste of money should be delt with especially the government sector.
