Nana Fredua says Ghanaians should stop pointing fingers at President of the Republic, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo and his government when expressing concerns about the economic challenges in Ghana.
According to him, Ghanaians are their own problems.
This, he explained, citing incidents of Ghanaian employees who instead of focusing on working to better their lives and the country, rather resort to theft and other nefarious activities.
He wondered how Nana Addo should be blamed for people stealing from their bosses and abusing the laws of the country.
Nana Fredua, blasting the citizens on their shameful conduct, revealed a national service person has recently theived over 150,000 cedis from a State-owned company and "now his family who are Ghanaians are begging on his behalf".
He asked how will the nation be better if the citizens, themselves, are engaging in unlawful activities and apportion blames to the government for their own bad ways.
"About 148,000 people are stealing us every month. Just assess it by adding three zeros to 148,000, how much is it? 148 million every month! What are we talking about? Is this government's fault? Is it not Ghanaians stealing these monies?"
"If every month, we gained this 148 million, would we borrow? Let's be truthful to ourselves," he said.
"People are stealing electricity, water but turn around to describe you as the bad person. Is this the fault of Akufo-Addo?", he further asked.
To him, "we should stop pointing fingers" at the President and do the right thing because not everything should the citizens expect government to correct for them and not everything is government's fault.

I love reading unintelligent comments from Akim ***barred word*** like ‘this black face ***barred word*** Fredua
This are some of the people who should be hiding their faces from TV screens, unfortunately they don't know shame so they keep annoying Ghanaians the more. You have a finance minister who is also the transaction advisor anytime this government goes to take a loan and thus a certain percentage goes to his company and you don't see anything wrong with that? If we were told the Akuffo Addo we heard of will sit and watch this happening nobody would have believed. You accused Mahama of doling out a whole bauxite concession to his brother. What's the difference between that and what the finance minister is currently doing. So you are the only people who deserve to be rich at the expense of the Ghanaian people. If this is what democracy is all about then democracy is bad. No wonder one time general secretary of the NPP questioned whether Akuffo Addo appointees are NPP members. Today Ghana doesn't even have an economy to be managed, nobody seems to be in control thus everyone for himself, a God for us all. So the sea, cocoa, timber, bauxite, manganese, gold, the two giant harbours, crude oil have all become a curse rather than a blessing? No illiterate leader with this resources at his disposal will ever go begging with a bowl in hand, he will feel ashamed. It's like all the efforts Kufour made to make the NPP attractive have been dismantled. Am just imagining what akuffo Addo's legacy will look like. He has come to make John Mahama look like a saint. How will he feel if he were to hand over to John Mahama in 2025? That John Mahama with all his alleged incompetence is still far better than akuffo Addo? But that is most likely, one doesn't need any survey to confirm that if elections were held today between John Mahama and akuffo Addo, bet me John Mahama will secure 80+ of the votes. A very rich and promising country been crippled by a group of people who represents nobody but themselves. Voting will soon become unattractive in Ghana because the good people of Ghana have been let down. Oh
Interesting! Who inserted the ghost names? It’s you the politicians of course….. both NDC and NPP. Year on year they keep on adding foot soldiers to the government pay roll. There are people who don’t have jobs but receive salaries all in the name of having worked for the party to win power. NADMO, Non-Formal education for instance, are a conduit for adding foot soldiers into the government pay roll. If ghost names are found on government pay roll, the appropriate state institutions should investigate and punish them. That’s why Ghanaians gave unlimited power to the president.
In smart and progressive societies. such people are put before court and jailed. We voted the people into power to make our laws work and to work for us. We are not interested in blame games.
Nana Fredua reminds me of the case where masons steal bags of cement from the workplace , and then, turn around to blame their employer. Hmmm ! A hundred and forty eight thousand ghost names on the government's payroll? Wow. ! Wicked souls reside in this part of the universe, indeed. See why Dr. Bawumiah made a preference for the Ghana card in lieu of a thousand interchanges. He speaks in parables. Very intelligent vice president.
