Seasoned Journalist, Kwesi Pratt Jnr. is appalled by statements that go to say God is behind the President of Republic, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo in his adminstration of Ghana.
Speaking in relation to the passage of the E-Levy Bill, Mr. Pratt made reference to utterances by some people with ties to the governing New Patriotic Party who tend to say the President's actions are backed by God.
To him, those people should stop making such statements stressing, "God doesn't hold a party card".
Making his submissions on Peace FM's 'Kokrokoo' programme, Mr. Pratt said; "If you say that, it looks like God is partisan. Like God is holding NPP card, but you know very well that God doesn't hold a party card."
He also shared his disagreements with the E-levy to take effect in May this year.
To him, the way the policy has been arranged, it will be a burden to less privileged Ghanaians.
He recounted how people struggle to get Ghc 100 or more and then the government wants to charge them on their electronic transactions.
Mr. Pratt wondered why the road tolls have been cancelled because, to him, ''nobody complained about the road tolls. The only complaint people made was that collecting 1 cedi as toll was a small amount and so called for it to be increased".
The seasoned Journalist believed the ordinary Ghanaian will be at a huge disadvantage with this E-levy policy.

This guy is a real joke! When you become jealous, you are eventually filled with hatred. And when hatred sets in, your actions or inactions become unthinkable. Finding excuses where there is none. This is what the Jews did to Jesus. Regardless, they didn’t know that their plan wasn’t God’s. God changed the circumstance so that you and I would be saved. In times like this, let’s abhor the spirit of jealousy so that God would make a way where there is none.

aaaah! otan nni 3duro. As the saying goes no matter how good the chicken dances, the hawk will not be impressed. Mr Pratt, God is behind Nana Addo and there is netin you can do ooooo ton.
Uncle Prat, you're all angry about E- levy because finally, 1. this is a tax the fat cows like yourself and the mooching crew cannot conveniently avoid 2. Will raise enough revenue to help develop the country through the efforts of all citizens, thereby calling on the powers that be to be more accountable 3. The political benefits of increased national revenue is directly antithetical to the interests of you and your political friends. What I'll say is, grow a brain and sense a Ghana mooching away from patronage society to that of shared responsibilities. You may not live long to experience it, but a developed Ghana is in the works.
