President Nana Akufo-Addo has congratulated President-Elect of the United States Of America, Joe Biden
Joe Biden, was declared by International media houses as the 46th president of the USA after 20 electoral votes win in Pennsylvania pushed him ahead of the incumbent, President Donald Trump.
Even though Donald Trump is yet to concede, there have been lots of congratulatory messages from leaders of other countries such as French president, Emmanuel Macron.
Adding his voice is Ghana's President Akufo-Addo whose tweet shared on social media read: "warm congratulations" to Joe Biden and Kamala Harris.
Attached to the tweet was also a statement. Portions of it read: "On behalf of the people of Ghana, I extend my warmest congratulations to President-Elect of the United States Of America, Vice President Joseph Robinette Biden Jr on his decisive victory in the elections of 3rd November 2020...
I am hopeful that over the course of his presidency, relations between Ghana and the United States of America will continue to grow from strength to strength, relations which have over the years been based on shared agenda of freedom, development, progress and prosperity.
God bless the American people and best wishes for their country's continued success".
