And so what if he did? How long ago was this? When did Edward Akufo-Addo own these shares? And if his son went on to inherit these shares (which I suspect where this man is taking the argument), what does it matter if he has seen that bringing the company to Ghana will benefit the country and the citizens, doesn’t that show his care for us? When Kufuor brought in Vodafone to take over Ghana Telecom to benefit the country, ndc was against it, but that was just a smokescreen. The deal went ahead in the year of Kufour’s departure, 2008. In spite of all the noise, didn’t Prof Kofi Awoonor’s two sons get appointments there? And this even as Mills pretended it still wasn’t good and went to plead with the CEO of Vodafone in London to change the name back to Ghana Telecom ( a ridiculous request anyway). Hypocrites, that’s all you are.
As old as you are, you are still talking like this, because you know we play politics with everything in this country, you don't want ndc supporters to buy their cars or what,
And you also heard that he can only access the shares when VW come to Ghana?? Shm
He heard? Thought he is well above 60 years. Will our old folks help us.
This is the kind of politics these people are used to. Just throw something into the air, to create suspicion - maybe you can convince some people. They leave the substantive issues behind, and pursue propaganda. When that fails, they try tribal politics. They must gain political power, not from superior policy propositions, but by pitting the governed against the government. Since their formation, they have only succeeded to gain power only by making the electorate angry at their elected leaders. Yet when they come to power, they line their pockets and create difficulties for the citizenry. Hopefully their political career ends this December 2020!
These people are pathetic and desperate
