Member of Parliament[MP] for Assin South Constituency, Rev John Ntim Fordjour has charged members of the ruling party upset about the shortage of parliamentary primaries forms, particularly in the Ashanti Region, to be measured in expressing their misgivings.
“Don’t be too engrossed in the position you are clamouring for, but consider the larger picture of Ghana’s progress. Because whatever position you may wish to hold, will be useless without having Akufo-Addo as the President of the Republic, therefore we must first consolidate that of the president before thinking of ourselves.”
“...when the party is united and an aspirant or a sitting candidate loses his/her seat, definitely someone will benefit from the party, thus being a messenger with your party in power is more significant than being a parliamentarian with your party in opposition,” he stated.
Arguing strongly on UTV’s ‘Adekye Nsroma’ political discussion show, the lawmaker pointed out that Ghana will gnash its teeth in the unlikely scenario of not having President Akufo-Addo as president.
“Ghana will be on the losing end in not having Akufo-Addo as our President, therefore incumbent and aspiring parliamentary candidates who have some issues in getting access to their primaries forms should not use it as a yardstick to destroy the good works of the party," he cautioned.

Oyiwa! And more chop-chop on the way from the Voter Register compilation. Why won't they do anything to hook to or struggle their way to power? Former President Kufour was right. People, don't refuse to vote o! They'll always be happy for that wickedness to yourself and family. Ghana will not collapse without the two parties.
So do you people really want to continue to rule Ghana with such attitude. Peoples funds are locked up with financial institutions. Government has promised to pay for all the deposits. Those people are watching. Apart from their numbers, some also support your party with their hard earned funds. Those of you who are supposed to speak for the victims are quiet. Do you expect such to travel across the length and breadth of the country to vote for you like they did in 2016. I am shocked the NPP has suddenly forgotten where they are coming from. Expect nothing but voter apathy if you don't respond to peoples needs asap.
