The President of the Republic, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, on Tuesday, 17th December, 2019, cast his vote in the ongoing District Assembly and Unit Committee Elections, in fulfilment of his civic duty.
President Akufo-Addo, who was accompanied by the First Lady, Mrs Rebecca Akufo-Addo, was met on arrival, at the Rock of Ages polling station ‘B’, by the Member of Parliament for Abuakwa South, Hon. Samuel Atta Akyea.
In a short interview after casting his ballot, the President urged all Ghanaians to participate in the elections so “you can elect your preferred candidate onto the Assembly. If you sit at home, someone else will make that decision for you. So, I am urging all Ghanaians to turn out in their numbers and vote.”

WHERE DID NANA AKUFFO ADDO CAST HIS VOTE? IN KIBI OR ACCRA? AND WHO DID HE THROW HIS VOTE TO? AN NPP AFFILIATED CANDIDATE OR A CPP AFFILIATED CANDIDATE OR AYARIGA AFFILIATED CANDIDATE? I KNOW FOR SURE THAT A PERCEIVED NDC AFFILIATED CANDITAE WOULD NOT SEE NANA'S THUMB SINCE NANA HATES NDC SO MUCH AND ANYTHING ASSOCIATED WITH JOHN IN PARTICULAR
THE EC HAS BEEN UNFAIR TO MANY GHANAIAN ELIGIBLE VOTER BY FIXING THE DAY ON A WORKING DAY INSTEAD OF A SATURDAY. WORKERS IN THE FORMAL SECTOR, ESPECIALLY THOSE IN THE VARIOUS LIMITED LIABILITY COMPANIES. A PERSONAL OBSERVATION I HAVE MADE IS THAT WHEN VOTING OR REGISTRATION IS ON WEEK DAYS, THE TURNOUT IS VERY LOW AS COMPARED TO HOLIDAYS AND WEEKENDS. SO ELECTORAL COMMISSION TAKE NOTE AND BE FAIR TO THE CITIZENS. THANK YOU
President Talk and Do! I salute you. Keep up the good work for mother Ghana.
