Former Deputy Ashanti regional Minister, Hon. Joseph Yammin has revealed that the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) will better manage the ‘1 District 1 Factory’ flagship policy of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) when given the chance to govern in 2020.
The NDC’s chief stalwart made this assertion on Pure Fm in an interview with Kwame Adinkra.
Hon. Yammin explained that, the current government is bereft of cogent ideas to implement the policy as all they cared about was trumpeting lies to secure power in the lead up to the 2016 general elections.
According to him, if given the nod in 2020 to form the next government, the NDC with the great minds and brilliant ideas, will make the policy feasible to generate employment avenues for Ghanaians who have been plunged into abject poverty by the ‘incompetence’ of the Akufo-Addo led administration.
“Kwame, these people have no idea of what they are doing, look at how the ‘1 District 1 factory policy’ has become a waste. Every day they have new excuses as to why they are failing. Doing blame games and failing to take responsibility for the mess they have plunged this country into after promising Heaven to the people. It is a shame.
When we form the next government with the trusted mandate of Ghanaians, we will make the policy better. We will generate mass employment for Ghanaians. We have done it before under the able leadership of President Mahama and we will do it again.” He stated boasting.
Meanwhile, the Deputy Trade Minister, Hon. Robert Ahomka-Lindsey in commissioning a Small Brick Charcoal Factory in Bamang, a farming community in the Kwabre East District of the Ashanti region earlier this month revealed that, the government has commissioned two hundred (200) factories across the country under the ‘1 District 1 Factory’ policy so far.

Listen to this ***barred word*** too, how can a chino chino person manage a whole factory..?
hahahahah listen to this ediot what are you people capable of managing well, apart from create lo0t and share you know nothing about management
Apuuu. NDC Guys are not innovative. what they know is telling LAIRS.
NDC is always thinking INSIDE THE BOX and even that, they have NO CLUE as to running the country to make the masses benefit. NPP always think OUTSIDE THE BOX and create new things out of nothing. Check the various electoral reforms that has taken place since 1996. The Kuffuor govt did a lot for Ghana but NDC derailed everything. Nana Addo and his team have really done much thinking outside the box and have the blue print to run the show. Yamin, is 1D 1F your "baby". Give us a break
Your communicators say there are no factories going on,so what are you going to manage?.Just one factory at Komenda you could not manage.Do not show your ignorance and keep quite.
You people do not know any shame. What kind of management skills are you talking about.
When people like 'this' in NDC speak, it makes me sick in the stomach. Manage what better? Where are your own policies? We haven't forgotten what you (NDC) did to NHIS, School feeding program, capitation grant etc in the 8yrs of the INCOMPETENT Mahama. Ghanains are WISE now!
Even the single Komenda Sugar Factory you could not put it into production and you are talking of 1D1F? You think talking is conceptualizing ideas and making sure it comes to fruition. 1D1F is not like the guinea fowls that flew to Burkina Faso.
eben asem mpo nyi? hmmmmmmm
Listen to this ji.mi.ie from Yamin. You could not manage NHIS better, how can you manage factories better? SADA afforestation and Akonfem turned into the birds flying to Burkina Fasso. NYEP now YES has had Abuga Pele in prison; did you manage it any better? School Feeding were in shambles when you were there for 8yrs, could you manage it better? Yamin, don't be an >i>do
