Acting Communications Director of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) Yaw Adomako Baafi has called on Ghanaians to accept the apology by Mr. George Ayisi-Boateng, Ghana's High Commissioner to South Africa, over his derogatory comments.
According to Mr. Adomako Baafi, the party admits the comments by Mr. Ayisi-Boateng were out of place.
Speaking on Peace FM's 'Kokrokoo' programme, he stated that the ruling NPP doesn't entertain divisive statements whether implicitly or explicitly made and irrespective of the personality who makes such statements.
He stressed that Mr. Ayisi-Boateng's remarks to the tertiary student's wing of the NPP - TESCON - is no exception because "that's not the language of the party. It’s not Akufo-Addo’s language neither Addo Kufour’s language nor John Agyekum Kufour’s language. So Ghanaians should forgive us.”
He appealed to the nation to pardon the diplomat's conduct particularly when he has rendered an apology to such effect.

Results of appointing ***barred word*** petrol station business ***barred word*** as ambassador
Yaw Ghanaians have no problem with the NPP but the ndc has problem with everybody in the country. They don't really know what they want so their only thing is to hate and make unnecessary noise but the good people of Ghana don't care a hoot about these ndc nation wreckers. Ndc has nothing good to offer the nation so Ghanaians don't take them serious and don't care a pence about them. They can spin, turn and twist and end up going to hell who cares? These are a bunch of ***barred word*** who have nothing good for the nation and only their die hards are following them they have no new members because that party is not attractive. Why are they and only they are talking when we have so many political parties this shows Ghanaians don't like them and don't take them serious. They should go to hell who cares? Ndc is a spent force making noise just to be heard, they want attention but nobody is giving them.hahahaha! Mr Ayisi Boateng well done ,you said it right!
you guys have no respect for Ghanaians. You open your mouth without thinking
Nana Yaw Adomako Baafi, we have already forgiven him. Dont worry.
the embassy is a foooooooollll he should resign, he is a born ***barred word*** and will die a fooooo, .gh pp
So we can't punish people for their misconduct. I always says the problem of Africa and for that matter Ghana is that, whenever someone goes wrong, instead of punishing the person, We will rather refer to past conduct of another person and ask the person to apologize then case close. We are afraid to punish people for their actions and inaction. What is wrong with us as people?
Mr Baafi why should this be a problem to NPP if this is at variance with your believes- Just fish him out to serve a strong warning. enough is enough otherwise then the status quo will continue as this has always been the case. this is a simple mater he remains the game continues he is fired the chain is broken as we were all looking for change period
