Call it a dramatic volte-face and you will not be far from it.
Two leading figures of the National Democartic Congress (NDC), who had earlier refuted the circulation of portions of the Kwesi Botchwey report in the media and described the media as peddling falsehoods, had no choice but to admit they were wrong, in the face of overwheming evidence adduced by seasoned journalist Abdul Malik Kweku Baako on Wednesday's edition of "Kokrokoo" on PeaceFM.
Whiles Yaw Boateng Gyan, former NDC National Organizer first rubbished the serialized publications bordering on the Kwesi Botchwey report and even dared the popular Accra-based newspaper, Daily Guide to publish scanned pages of the report it claims were in their possession, NDC Central Regional Chairman, Allotey Jacobs on his part, was bullish in his stance that no portion of the report had been leaked.
But both had to do a complete and an abrupt u-turn on the subject matter.
Their stunned looks after the disclosure, were indicative of the fact that they had been jolted to the core.
After an intense argumentative discourse with Kweku Baako, Editor-in-Chief of the New Crusading Guide on the "Kokrokoo" show, he pulled out some scanned copies to the surprise of Allotey Jacobs and Yaw Boateng Gyan.
Their bemused expression was interesting to watch. Having realized that the report (even if it were portions of it) were in the hands of the media, the two NDC stalwarts then bemoaned the attitude of some faceless individuals within the party, accusing them of leaking it to the media.
They urged those individuals to stop since their behaviour could deepen the internal strife in the party.

Cant we talk about the naked robbery going on and leave ndc to deal with their problems. We have just thrown $2,5m away for something that is free on google and nobody is concerned
WHEN A BLIND MAN SAYS HE OR SHE WILL THROW A STONE AT YOU DO NOT CHALLENGE HIM OR HER POSSIBLY HE OR SHE MIGHT HAVE BEEN STANDING ON ONE. NDC AND ITS MEMEBERS ARE RUNNING WHEN NOBODY IS AFTER. YOUR DEFEAT REPORT IS OUT, WHETHER YOU LIKE IT OR NOT AND GHANAIANS ARE AWARE OF EVERYTHING, EVEN YOUR SCHEMES FOR 2020,ELECTIONS BUT THE PROBLEM HERE IS NDC WILL NOT WIN 2020 ELECTION.
Masa; whether the NDC report has been leaked or not is neither here nor there ;because today everybody knows NDC as a party are just fraudesters and liars ; everybody knows the reasons why these kremenal maggots called the NDC lost the elections ; the truth is that NDC has never won an election in Ghana ; from JJ Rawlings their founder to Jon Mahama all the elections were rigged ; you cannot govern a country with lies ; stilling and fraud but as already pointed out ;GOD is GREAT -'ALLAH HU AKBAR' and GODS TIME IS THE BEST; Ghana as a nation was thought a lesson by God that he is the CREATOR and knows the minds and heart of man ; NDC as party will never come to power again because everybody knows they are not fit for purpose and will fall into oblivion as a party
Could you believe that NDC touted that it used 4 months to win the 2016 elections, knowing very well that Dr Afare rigged for the party, and Justice Atubguba endorsed the rigging. How come it could not use 4years to win 2016 election? God made NDC know that He is the "I am that Iam'; NDC had put all their hopes in Charlotte Osei, to secure them victory, but God made nansense of its machinations and manipulations to sway victory in favor of Prez Mahama. God, crushed the EC results transmission system, and that of Felix Ofosu-Kwakye. Everything was beyond redemption for NDC. Having know that NDC use foul means to win elections, I dont know when it is going to come back to power, except to say that some of the members would relocate to prisons, once the Special Prosecutor starts working.
