Member of Parliament (MP) for Assin Central in the Central Region has indicated his intention to embark on a naked demonstration if roads in his constituency are not fixed.
According to him, the deplorable state of roads leading to farming communities in the constituency was affecting the socio-economic conditions of the people.
He said if the Minister of Roads and Highways, Kwasi Amoako-Atta, does not heed to his concerns by fixing their roads, he would have no choice than to embark on naked demonstration to drum home his demands.
“Roads in Fosu are very bad that farmers have issues transporting their produce to the farms. I can open my mobile phone and show you some pictures I took and it’s very bad. I have stated it before that if they fail to work on the road in the constituency, I will stage a naked demonstration,” he warned on Adom TV’s morning show “Badwam,” on Tuesday, October 18, 2017.
According to Hon Agyapong, he had met with the roads minister over the deplorable sate of the Fosu to Twifo Praso roads.
The motive for the action, he indicated, was because good roads and clean water were among some of the legacies he wanted to leave for his constituents.
“Roads and water is the legacy I will leave for my constituents. Assin people when I am doing all this and someone comes out to insult me they should let the person know they have benefited from me,” he urged.

You dare go on the naked demonstration and you will know that there are laws in Ghana. You will be arrested and charged for indecent exposure.PLEASE RESPECT YOURSELF
HON. KEN SHOULD TELL US WHICH ROAD IN GHANA IS GOOD? AFTER ALL, THE NDC SAID THEY DID A LOT OF INFRASTRUCTURE (INCLUDING ROADS). WHEN IS HON. KEN GOING ON THE NAKED DEMONSTRATION? COME ON! LET US ALL BE REASONABLE, WHO TAKES UNDER A YEAR TO FIX THE MANY PROBLEMS INHERITED FROM INCOMPETENT N D C. FOR NOW THE ROADS MINISTER SHOULD THINK OF GETTING A LOT OF MACHINES TO GRADE THE UNTARRED BAD ROADS. IT SHALL BE WELL.
ARE YOU THE ONLY GHANAIAN LIVING IN GHANA AND WHAT ABOUT OTHER ROADS IN DIFFERENT PARTS OF THE COUNTRY MASTER KEN? YOU CAN'T DO THIS WORK THE MINISTER FOR ROADS AND HIGH IS UNDER TAKING. LET PEOPLE THINK IN THIS COUNTRY WHY WHY WHY? COMOT MASTER.........
So you've seen the minister and he's probably assured you that some work is going to be done (remember you're not alone in Ghana, everyone is crying for roads); why then do you need to threaten with a demo as well?!? You Ken Agyapong know that contracts must be awarded, and moreover it's raining right now so road construction isn't very fast at the moment. Why don't you give the government some time instead of this incessant noise-making? You heard the minister say recently that most contractors weren't paid for five years. Allow them to put things in place before putting new ones in motion!
Fosu to Twifo Praso road is very bad
