Former Minister of Communication Omane Boamah has responded to allegations made by Dr. Ibrahim Zuberu, claiming that he kept some vital information to himself which caused the defeat of the NDC.
According to Dr. Ibrahim Zuberu, Omane Boamah and Seth Terkper refused to give out vital information to party communicators to counter the claims of the New Patriotic Party.
In a statement by the former minister for information, he could not fathom why Dr. Zuberu and 3news.com could publish such lies against him.

Come again 3news.com and Dr Zuberu - I Did My Job Very Well as Communications Minister
I have become aware of a scurrilous insinuation published by 3news.com that 'I kept vital information to my chest' and refused to release same to party communicators whiles serving as Minister for Communications.
This is untrue and most unfortunate, particularly at this time that our great party the National Democratic Congress is embarking on a healing process to recapture power in 2020.
In the tone and spirit of this objective, I wish to inform Dr Zuberu and all interested parties that to the best of our knowledge every information that was available to the ministry and fit for public consumption was released to our communicators.
We published a comprehensive book of government's achievements titled "Accounting To The People" (Greenbook), we regularly provided speaking notes on topical issues to communicators on several platforms which included platforms with elected Executives of our party, and we also disseminated widely, press statements on topical issues.
Furthermore, we embarked upon the innovative Government for The People (G4P) fora across the ten regions of Ghana 🇬🇭,not once, and additionally hosted series of live press briefings with the view to providing adequate information which were available to the Ministry of Communications to both citizens and party communicators. The list is endless.
As I have already indicated, I am guided by the tone and spirit of our noble and collective desire to heal, rejuvenate, reorganize, and to recapture power in the next three years and six months ahead.
I hope this provides enough information to dispel any wrong impression created by the said publication by 3news.com.

A gem of a communicator who never insulted but whenever they couldn't stand the power of his analysis, they said insult... insult to hide their shame....pls pause and appreciate great brains. Counter facts are not insults. Omane Boamah, I admire your brain
Yes its true you did your work well with such tenacity of lies, unnecessary propaganda, arrogance and disrespect for people's ability to descend. you were vulgar, corrupt and power drunk, posterity will judge you and wont forgive you and your cohorts, you forgot there are seasons and times. pay back time will certainly catch up to you soon!
Omane Boamah was always quoting from chasing the elephant into the ***barred word*** instead of his so-called green book. He was not serious at promoting his government's achievements. Arthur Kennedy was his mentor and he was f0oling all the time. The whole communication system of the NDC broke down under his incompetence. Why won't they blame him? All the babies with sharp teeth must stand aside for fresh and humble people to lead our parties communication
Dr Zuberu was Omane Boamah a minister of communication or minister for NDC? In any case all the things being economics, social, political, or whatever that your government did were all in the public for everybody to see so what again was Omane Boamah hiding from you? But Omane Boama you green book was full of photo shops, non-existing projects that still cannot be found on the surface of this earth, old school buildings repainted, etc. and more importantly, about 80% percent of your communication attention was towards insulting Nana Addo. Can this be an effective communication to win an election?
If the NDC is very serious of capturing power in future then they should do away with these people: Omane Boamah, Asiedu Nketiah, Koku Anhyidoho, Fred Agbenyo, Felix Ofosu Kwakye, Nii Lantey Vanderpuye and Fiifi Kwetey. These guys were so "arrogant" and infuriated many ghanaians. They should go to the ordinary Ghanaian who didnt vote for them and check.
this man is ***barred word***
YES OMANE BOAMAH YOU ARE NOW LEARNING SENSE. YOU HAVE NOW LEARN HOW TO HUMBLE YOURSELF TO TALK TO HUMAN BEINGS. HAVE YOU FORGOTTEN HOW YOU ACTED ON NEWS FILE GETTING TO THE ELECTION TIME? YOU WERE SO PROUD AND ARROGANCE FILLED YOUR HEART TO THE BRIM YOU ARE ONE OF THE PEOPLE WHO SENT NDC TO WHERE THEY ARE NOW.SOME BODY HAVE PREDICTED 60 YEARS IN OPPOSITION I WILL ADD ANOTHER 16 YEARS TO IT.YOU PEOPLE HAVE STOLEN OUR MONIES AND SQUANDED OUR LITTLE RESOURCES THAT NOW GHANA IS BEGGING ON HER KNEES FOR SURVIVAL WHY?YOU HAVE DONE A LOT OF HARM TO GHANA AND GOD WILL NOT LET YOU PEOPLE GO UNPUNISH.
C'on, Omane-Boamah, I've been NDC sympathizer since my student days at SCHOOL OF SOCIAL WORK, Osu-Accra, in the late 70's. I left Ghana 36 years ago. I'm now a GAHNANIAN-DANISH-CANADIAN. I've followed political developments in Ghana since my exit. Your public pronouncements, buddy, contributed HUGELY to the defeat of NDC. YOU SHOULD BE SACKED FROM THE PARTY! NDC WILL DEFINATELY RETURN TO POWER! Long Live Africa! GOD BLESS GHANA!!!
Listen to this BAFOOON "This is untrue and most unfortunate, particularly at this time that our great party the National Democratic Congress is embarking on a healing process to recapture power in 2020". Recapture power in 2020. For where?? I laugh aaaaaaaaah enter Fall Army Worm Stomach.
May be at the level of government, but I will score you zero when it comes to your relationship with the common party man/woman on the street whom you saw as too low on the social ladder to share information with. Most at times Ghanaian politicians soon forget it was and still is the toil of the down trodden who have assisted them to draw free fuel, free lights, free water, free lunch, free tea 24/7,free accommodation and ex-gratia and at times buying 2/3 year old state cars for 1,500/2,000 Ghana cedis. Now that power has left your hands ,you now know the party belongs to the grassroots, i laugh enter my farm
