The Deputy Minister-designate for Trade and Industry, Carlos Kingsley Ahenkorah has asked members of the opposition NDC to desist from blaming the NPP as if its executives deliberately mandated the vigilante groups to cause havoc after the 2016 elections.
According to him although every member of the NPP is not happy with the attacks, they cannot as well disregard them because their hard work also helped in bringing the party into power.
“Their vigorous efforts on behalf of the party before the just ended elections prevented the then government in power from manipulating the elections [2016 General Elections],” he said.
He explained that all the party can tell them for now is to exercise patience if they don’t want to disgrace President Akufo- Addo and the party they belong to, as executives of the party address their anxiety in an orderly manner.
The Member of Parliament [MP] for the Tema West Constituency in a panel discussion on UTV’s ‘Adekye Nsroma’ programme urged the National Executive Council [NEC] of the party to make all efforts to calm down their furious actions.
“The vigilante groups fighting in the name of the party are not groups formed by the NPP to cause confusion, rather they willingly joined the party with an aim of protecting areas where the NDC maneuver votes to win elections. This they accomplished, and are now asking for their rewards, which we will definitely attend to them in no time,” Carlos Ahenkorah noted.

a very sensible talk from a sinsible man indeed we need people like you to speek all the time. you will surly remain in power for long. You got my vote for the next 20 years.
Well spoken Carlos. These grassroots people risked their lives for their parties. HMMMMMMMMMMMMMM.
THE DELTA FORCE MUST BE SET FREE. THERE IS NO WISDOM TO TROUBLE THE DELTA FORCE MEMBERS. THEY ONLY TESTED THE SECURITY CONDITION TO SHOW TO ALL IN GHANA THAT THERE IS SO MUCH LAPSES IN OUR SECURITY SET UP. IN THE FIRST PLACE IF THE MAN APPOINTED TO BE THE COORDINATOR OF SECURITY IN THE ASHANTI REGION DID NOT HAVE ENOUGH SECURITY INTELLIGENCE TO STOP THE ATTACK ON HIS PERSON WHAT BUSINESS DOES HE HAVE IN THE SECURITY OF THE REGION. SECONDLY THE SUCCESS OF THE DELTA FORCE TO DISRUPT COURT PROCEEDINGS AND FREED THEIR COLLEAGUES IS ANOTHER SLAM ON THE SECURITY DETAIL FOR OUR COURT SYSTEM. THE SUCCESS OF BOTH ACTIONS OF THE DELTA FORCE IS AN EYEOPENING TO THE SECURITY CONDITION IN THE REGION AND THE NATION AT LARGE. THEY HAVE ONLY SHOWN TO US ABOUT THE REALITY OF THE SECURITY DETAILS IN THE COUNTRY. NOBODY SHOULD TROUBLED THE VERY PEOPLE WHO HAVE SHOWN TO THE NATION THE PRECARIOUS CONDITION OF OUR SECURITY DETAILS. BECAUSE OF THEIR ACTION THE STATE SECURITY WOULD NOW TAKE PRECAUTION TO GATHER ENOUGH INTELLIGENCE TO AVERT ANY DANGER AND ATTACK ON OUR IMPORTANT PERSONALITIES AND INSTITUTION IN THE FUTURE. THE SECURITY COMMANDERS AND THEIR FORCES SHALL NO MORE TAKE THINGS FOR GRANTED BUT WORK HARD TO PROTECT LIFE AND PROPERTY.
Carlos, you are a sensible leader. This is what we need from our leaders. We are all angry with theway the boys are behaving but hey, what did'nt theAzoka boys do? But no one was ever arrested. Let us take care off our own. I hope the boys will listen to your advice Kwabena.
Truth is once bro! No one is calling the Delta forces as ***barred word*** but their act of forcing their way to the Law leading to the escape of the 13 arrested members was unlawful. We all played our ways in one way or the other by availing ourselves as pulling agents and in many other ways. What have we gain so far , does that mean we should all troop the the seat of government for our pound of flesh. They must respect the law and abide by the rule of law as we all cherish.
The most matured statement coming from any of the NPP top men, Guys exercise patience and it shall be well, Thank God in all the confusion , no sot a single soul lost
Carlos, well spoken. NPP Leaders "nia oko nso na obor anyina". Be wise and use wisdom to resolve this Delta Force matter because tomorrow is coming. Although what they did was wrong but you can dump them because they have sacrificed a lot for the Party. Thank you.
well spoken
carlos there is something wrong with you.l
Well said Carlos. Even refrafs in the NDC through toll booths collection have built mansions. The hierarchy of the NPP must handle the delta force issue with care else they risk losing future election.
