A member of the legal team of the ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC), Abraham Amaliba says President John Mahama still leads in the race for presidency despite widespread projections that the leader of the opposition NPP is a hot favourite for the Flagstaff House.
Mr Amalba in an interview on Joy FM urged all supporters of the NDC to remain calm as the party's own figures and projections suggest President Mahama will emerge victorious.
He also questioned the authenticity of a tweet purported to be from the MP elect for Ningo Prampram which described Nana Addo as @President-elect".
The tweet has since been deleted.

There is One I don't understand, is Ghana for the NDC? Since 1983 to 2000 the NDC was in power and frim 2008 to 2016 the NDC has been in power why is the NDC not accepting defeat, Infact everything shows that the NDC party as a whole, they are very selfish and greedy. Mahama ur time is up and there is nothing u can do so accept defeat because Ghana is not u and ur soo call party NDC
Mahama should not forget what happened to Lorient Bagbo of Ivory Coast.
Yes JM is still leading in PROPAGANDA and lies. How can you still be thinking like this with all the evidence available. Try something nasty and you will see that there are men in Ghana.
I believe Ndc think they have all the sense in this world, I know the literacy in ghana is high that's why this ndc people talking like this, if u don't hv anything to say just ***barred word***
Mr Amaliba, you numpties are playing with the heart of the masses. Can you come again in the next four years to ask for their mandate? Why can't you guys just accept the reality and the will of the people and God? Don't even dream of power sharing because that will never happen in Ghana. Tell Mahamah if he doesn't want to be like Gbabo he should reason and throw in the towel.
i think he slept at the side of his bed and he eat something that dose not agree with his mind
Is it foo00lishness or just mere ***barred word***. Can't they read what has being clear to everyone since day one
Amaliba uspeaks ***barred word*** u are now opposition JM still leading in prison with wayomi, Ativor n co
For sure, we really waiting patiently for the outcome of the election result.
If you people love Ghana, you will not be doing this. Madam EC please be bold, declare the results and save us from all these wahala. Nana has won, it's very clear.
