The Chief of Staff, Julius Debrah, wants electorate who will be voting in the December 7 general elections not to be swayed by the phrase change being clamoured by one of the political parties to make a mistake by voting out President John Dramani Mahama.
According to him, per his analysis of the performance of the President, he can only urge Ghanaians to retain Mr. Mahama in power to continue his agenda of changing lives and transforming Ghana.
He said countries that have made enormous progress in their developmental drive did so by sustaining a particular government that was doing well in their governance system.
Addressing professionals on the theme “Thinking together to transform mother Ghana”, Wednesday, on day two of his five-day campaign tour to the Greater Accra Region, Mr. Debrah said President Mahama by all standards is doing very well and must be retained in power to continue his good works for the country.
“As Ghanaians we need to believe in ourselves. All the countries that you see, especially, the industrialized ones, Asian Tigers that you see, you realized that they chalked some successes as a result of they sustaining the particular government that were doing well. You don’t change for changing sake. If a particular government is on track and whatever that they are doing seems to be something that will be for the betterment of this country, we don’t say we will change it because somebody say they want change,” he stressed.
He added “And knowing the situation in Africa, sometimes when you change, trust me because of the things that were said because they were in opposition they even feel shy to continue with some of the projects that government was doing.”
The Chief of Staff in a soft voice urged the professionals to be guided by past experience and vote massive for President John Mahama to be retained in power.
“If the reality is that President is on track please let’s give him the chance in the interest of national development and I can guarantee that you will never regret for voting once again for Mahama and his government,” he appealed.

What are you talking about? America changes government almost every eight years...desperate talk. Change is coming!!!
so this man understands democracy at all. what is the empirical evidence in what he was lamenting, if that is the case I think there is no need election so out of desperation you just say anything. then let me tell you I have never heard any chief of staff, president and the vice all out to campaigning and the scammer Afriyie Ankrah receiving government delegations. waaaat???????/
you are a stuppppppiddd chief of staff. We are changing because of your incompetence. You sit there and be fuuuuuuuuuuling. You will be unemployed on Dec 8.
They are just afraid of the backlash of their evil deeds. I tell you our minds are made up, and no amount amount of words can change our resolve.
Why are they so scared of change? Tell them nothing will happen to them. Nana and the NPP government are in for better and prosperous Ghana and not to haunt innocent people. I'm afraid the NDC has something up its sleeve.
If so, why are we doing elections? Are you stuuuupiiiiiid? What countries are you talking about? Go and live there and leave us to change stuuuuuupiiiiid edddddiots like you and JM. IF you don't have better things to say, go to hellllll. Stupppppiiiiiid chief of staffff. No wonder you guys are desperate.
Doesn't he have work to do at the flagstaff house?
what does this man mean about the word "Sake", i can sense a shallow mind in this mutumu langa who calls himself chief of staff. anyway u ve done the enough campaign done ur veep. but i ve one problem with u and your ndc, so cant u ppl for once talk like matured ppl? cant u guys for once speak on issue based polities? ur followers also do same of which it saddens me. We wont just change ooo, listen we want someone who will eradicate, incompetence, akua donkor, nkonfem to ford expedition, woyome, 50,000 borehole and etc. so u see, its simple logic.
So you knew this principle and in 2008 you went all around the country calling for a change huh! Then we will change you beacuse you are a big hyp0*crite paaaa
we are not changing for changing sake but rather we want a leader who will at least minimize the corruption canker and lead the crusade of collecting the woyome money and who can also stabiles our currency improve the economic wellbeing of Ghanaians.
