The newly built Accra Digital Centre will provide 10,000 jobs, Minister of Communications, Dr Edward Omane Boamah has said.
President John Mahama inaugurated the ultramodern Grade A Plug and Play facility at the Centre on Wednesday, 3 October.
In a short statement, Dr Boamah said the Business Process Outsourcing concept has come to stay because it continues to serve as a “major avenue to significantly reduce unemployment including graduate unemployment.”
He said the apps and robotics displayed at the exhibition center by Ghanaians last night was even more profound.
"I am satisfied that the Youth Enterprise Support, YES, initiative is also funding such innovations championed by young people,” President Mahama said while interacting with one of the young exhibitors.
