NPP parliamentary candidate for Adentan constituency, Akosua Manu has lauded the Electoral Commission for a successful limited registration exercise.
The Electoral Commission has ended its registration exercise aimed at registering eligible Ghanaians into the voters' register for them to exercise their voting right in the December 7 general elections.
The exercise which began on Tuesday, May 7 was met with controversies and criticisms but the Electoral Commission supervised the process till end.
Akosua Manu, popularly called Kozie, narrating a smooth process in her constituency applauded the Commissioners saying, "the EC was very responsive. During the process, concerning every complaint that was made, at least you would realize they will issue a statement or they will clarify issues all through the process. I believe this helped the process and if this continues, it gives me hope that everything will be fine in December".
"I think Madam Jean Mensa has performed very well despite the pressure," she added.
She gave these comments on Peace FM's "Kokrokoo" panel discussion programme.
