The 2016 flagbearer of the People’s National Convention (PNC), Dr. Edward Nasigire Mahama has said the Founder and Leader of the newly-formed All People’s Congress (APC), Hassan Ayariga will ‘regret’ is decision one day.
According to him, reasons that led to Hassan Ayariga’s exit from the PNC was unfortunate – “but the decision he took wasn’t the best.”
Mr. Ayariga broke ranks with the Peoples National Convention (PNC) after losing the flagbearership race to Dr. Edward Mahama – but will contest he November polls on the ticket of his new party.
Speaking on NEAT FM’s morning show 'Ghana Montie', Dr Mahama advised Mr Ayariga to read the history of some notable people who distance themselves from their mother party to form their own.
“None has been successful. I know he [Ayariga] will regret this one day but it will be too late,” he told host Kwasi Aboagye.
