We the youth of Mankarigu, Lukula and Yagbon in the North Gonja district have had an agreement that, not even a single NDC member should opt to vote in the forthcoming NDC primaries if the following concerns are not met
The members in the sub district have been working tirelessly towards the success of the NDC since the start of democracy
We toiled in so many ways to ensure that the party wins elections anytime there is balloting. The members in the sub district chopped(sic) many success anytime we vote
The areas have never lost in winning for the party but the top hierarchy of the party has not recognized our importance
The people of the areas had made so many appeals for just a better road network so that they can transport their farm products to outskirt and recoup what they normally spend on their farms, but the government paid no attention to that. Common good drinking water for the people in the area is a tag of war.
Mamprusi Mudguri district is just a stone throw to Mankarigu, all villages leading from Yabaga area are all connected to the national grid
Mankarigu, Yagbon and Lukula are the next largest communities in the north Gonja district apart from Daboya and non of these communities are connected
So the youth of these zones met and decided not to take part in the forthcoming NDC nationwide primaries if these areas are not connected either through Kpatarigu or Kikayili in the Mugduri district
Until this is done and the road from Yabaga to Lukula and Yagbon are regarded, no politician is allowed to step foot in the mentioned three zones or make an attempt to come and campaign
There is a saying in Ghanaian society that you have to chew stones or marbles to make millet frightened.
Signed
MankariguWura
