President John Dramani Mahama on Thursday, January 1st left Accra to join other world leaders in Brasilia for the inauguration of Dilma Rousseff as President of the Federative Republic of Brazil.
This will be President Rousseff's second term as President of Latin America's largest economy and a growing business and trade partner of Ghana.
The inaugural programme includes the constitutional swearing-in of the re-elected President, a Presidential Address after the swearing-in and a Presidential Dinner for the invited Heads of Delegation.
President Mahama according to government attended the inauguration personally as a sign of the growing cooperation between Ghana and Brazil over the last few years.
