Member of Parliament for Bosomtwe, Hon. Simon Osei Mensah has urged delegates of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) to maintain peace in the party as they prepare for the Special Congress on Sunday, August 31.
Hon. Simon Osei Mensah, speaking on Peace FM's "Kokrokoo", admonished the party delegates not to bicker among themselves but refrain from the use of invectives on one another.
He also charged the candidates to desist from casting innuendoes and using hate speeches in their campaigns as they gear up for the Special Congress.
Hon. Simon Osei Mensah noted, in his submission that any negative reaction from the party would be used as an arsenal against them by the ruling National Democratic Congress, come 2016.
He therefore advised the party folks, saying the congress "is not about beating with canes; neither has it got to do with fisticuffs. Go and ahead and vote for your favourite candidate.
People must be very very carefulany negative thing you say is a campaign message for the NDC.
