THE 2012 ABLEKUMA NORTH MEMBER OF PARLIAMENT Candidate of the Ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC), Ras Mubarak, has decided to call it quits in politics.
Ras Mubarak, a former radio presenter with Uniq FM, and former Member of the Friends of Nana Konadu Agyeman (FONKA), the group that contested late President Mills in 2010, says he will no longer contest in the 2016 Parliamentary polls
He however, disclosed that he will offer a helping hand to anyone elected by Ablekuma North NDC to wrestle power from current Member of Parliament (MP), Hon. Justice Joe Appiah.
A statement written on his wall on facebook, Thursday afternoon read as follows:
"2012 campaign thought me a lot, lessons u would never get even in a PhD political science class. The experience is invaluable and I am forever indebted to anyone who helped my campaign in anyway.
I wish to make way for fresh blood. I would be available to assist whoever emerges as NDC parliamentary candidate for the Ablekuma North Constituency. Long live Ghana.
