The only independent candidate in the 2012 elections, Jacob Osei Yeboah, has weighed in on the current debate on political polarisation.
He believes that the country is polarised and says it is dangerous for Ghana's democracy.
Mr. Osei-Yaboah was however quick to add that the supreme court's fines placed on NPP's General Secretary, Sir John and the party's Communication Team member, Hopeson Adorye is a step in the right direction.
He points out that "Politics must bow at the alter of rule of law" and praised the supreme court Justices for their advice.
