The office of former Attorney General, Gloria Akuffo has been broken into by some unknown persons.
The offices of Akuffo and Associates, located on the 2nd Floor, Pyramid House, Ring Road, which is barely hundred meters away from the Nima Police Station, were ransacked and the servers connecting the offices badly damaged.
Details are not yet available but Gabby Asare Otchere-Darko, special aide to the party's presidential candidate, disclosed the burglary on Facebook.
His statement read: "The lawyer leading the NPP legal team on the challenge of the presidential results, Gloria Akuffo, has had her office broken into."
That attracted a quick response from an aide to President John Mahama.
"It is no longer Ayikoi Otoo who is heading the team of lawyers?", the presidential aide, Stan Dogbe asked on Facebook. "Who knew Gloria as even part of the lawyers to make any plans against her? Let's cut [these] infantile political games. Condemnable petty break-ins should not be politicized. I could have also made noise when NPP hoodlums went harassing the security man at my wife's office for two nights continuous."
The incident has been reported to the Nima Police Station.
