NDC parliamentary candidate for Akwatia, Baba Jamal has told XYZ NEWS some NDC electorates in Wenchi are being intimidated in the ongoing biometric registration.
The area is known to be a stronghold of the NPP.
Baba Jamal, who is also the deputy Tourism Minister registered on Tuesday morning in Akwatia told XYZ NEWS he is unhappy with happenings in Wenchi.
He said after the exercise, the EC will realize that the polling station was characterized by double voting.
He reiterated his belief that he has never lost an election in Akwatia but that the election has always been a rigged in favour of his opponents.
He expressed joy that the biometric registration exercise has eliminated the problem of double voting in the country, stating: �It has assisted the whole country. Now a lot of people are not able to register [twice] or [thrice]... and I can assure you that with this type of registration, Ghana�s democracy will advance to a different level.�
