When President Mills' delegation arrived in Togo, he was welcomed at the airport by his counterpart, Faure Essozima Gnassingbe and some ministers of sate of Togo.
In the President�s delegation was the deputy Energy Minister, Inusah Fuseini, Deputy Interior Minister Kobby Acheampong, Deputy Foreign Minister amongst others.
President Mills held bilateral talks with his Togolese counterpart whilst his delegation met with their Togolese counterparts and deliberated on issues of mutual interest.
The President later in the day addressed the Ghanaian community in Togo before departing to Accra.
The Director of Communications at the Presidency, Koku Anyidoho told Citi News that Ghana has a strong bond of friendship with Togo and will continue talks behind closed doors centering on energy as well as water supply.
�It is a long standing agreement dating back into the 70�s and so there may be an agreement where water will be generated from our side and be pumped into Togo,� he said
