A New Patriotic Party (NPP) activist, Francis Fuseini, has been gunned down by unknown assailant in Badoor near Bawku of the Upper East region of Ghana.
According to Citi News Northern regional correspondent, Abdul Karim Naatogmah, Fuseini, who doubles as an assembly man for Badoor, met his untimely death whiles returning from Bawku.
He said the police have increased their presence in the town to forestall a possible clash between supporters of both the opposition NPP and the ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC).
