President John Evans Atta Mills left Accra on Tuesday night for Copenhagen, Denmark, to attend the World Summit on Climate Change. During the summit, President Mills will make a statement on climate change in Ghana as well as efforts being made to contain the situation.
He will also take advantage of the occasion to meet with the Ghanaian community in Copenhagen. President Mills is expected back at the weekend. At the airport to see the President off were Vice President John Dramani Mahama, ministers of state and senior military and police personnel.
