Mensa Otabil, the General Overseer of the International Central Gospel Church, has said most Nigerians would not survive if he (God) were the country’s president.
Otabil made this known on Monday October 2, at a program called the Platform.
“God is not your president; you just have to pray, because if God is your president, you’ll be so uncomfortable with life. If God was president of Nigeria, most of us would not survive,” Otabil stated.
“So, how does God behave as president of a nation? Well, check Israel. When he was president before they had a king, he ruled them, and how did he rule them? He gave them Manna; he had a good social system and a good welfare system.
“He (God) gave them electricity by day and air conditioning by night; he provided support. He provided the waterworks system, he gave them water from a rock, and so in terms of their well-being, he supported them, but he also wanted them to live by laws.”

Massaa, we are tired of your prosperity gospel where you pastors a the only ones who prosper but your congregation is poor! Remove the log in your eye so you can properly see the speck in your brother's eyes. Ghana is messed up at the moment but you are silent. You have turned to a man-made god in Ghana who neither sees nor hears anything. As one Pastor said , they are part of the reason the country is in such a state because most pastors don't speak the truth. A society is built by people with values and principles but what do these pastors preach to their congregation? Breakthrough, promotion, visas, building ,etc. All these are vanities. Preach reformation of character where the average Ghanaian worker steals from his/her employer to get rich. Fat donors are either made committee chair or given front pews in church without their source of funds being questioned!
