Mr Peter Simon Asirifi, East Akyem Municipal Chief Executive, on Thursday inaugurated a 10-seat KVIP toilet estimated at GHC 10,000 for the people of Wirenkyiren-Amanfrom.
He advised the chiefs and people to unite to enhance the rapid development of the town.
Mr Asirifi said now that the general election wasover it was about time that they forgot about their political affiliations and to rally behind the ruling government to promote development in the area.
On behalf of the assembly he donated four sets of streetlight bulbs worth over GHC 1,000 Ghana to the town.
The chief of the town, Barima Ofosuhene Peprah IV, appealed to the assembly to send more sanitation workers to the town and appealed to the government to employ more cocoa spraying gangs to the area.
Barima Peprah appealed to the assembly to complete their Presbyterian Primary School on time to help do away with the shift system.
In an open forum the 2001-2002 best cocoa farmer in the municipality, Mr Atta Owusu Amaning, appealed to the scholarship secretariat to give more scholarships to children of cocoa farmers.
