FLASHBACK!!
I think travel makes you a well-rounded person and can help us appreciate what we have in America. As an American, I’m used to having a certain comfort level. I like having a hot shower, food and, yes, even air conditioning. If you are traveling to Ghana don’t expect any of these things. I went to Ghana on assignment for a newspaper and stayed in Accra, the capitol city. Even though it’s a developing nation you would expect that the capital would have some amenities. It did and it didn’t.

ONE MAJOR PROBLEM WITH OUR BELOVED GHANA WITH REGARDS TO VISITORS NOT PREFERING GHANA IS HUGE COST OF HOTELS AND OTHER LODGING FACILITIES
Why this white people always want us to do things to suit to suit their taste and preference? So you really except hot during this season in Ghana.....this is totally non sense. You can go to hell . We are going to show case what we have rather than to your taste and preference. You are even happy that u got a king or Queen's size to sleep on, next you will come and what we only have not not what you want. It's High To Showcase What We Have As a Nation And The Continent AFRICA as A Whole.
Good we accept constructive critique and make efforts to improve. Truth be told Ghana is not a bed of roses but definitely worth Visiting the place i call home
Take her criticism in good stead. It's outrageous that 80 per cent of all 26million of us don't have flush toilets. It's equally outrageous that homeless couples can afford to have 1, 2, 3, or up to 7 children whilst sleeping in front of shops. We must admit that overall, we are pitiful
That lady is a c.a.n.t.Come to London today, and there many, many houses which has not got toilets and bathrooms. And they call themselves develop countries. Hypocrisy go kill her. She should go and burn the sea, in other to be comfortable. So she should be ashamed of herself. America got independence way back in the 16th century, and how many years now? Ghana is only 60 years, and we have made a good stride, and should be commended.Rampant gun killing in America, and you have the audacity to criticize a developing country.
My goodness! who even needs you here. Every ***barred word*** crappy who visits a foreign land goes with a certain kind of expectation. What were you itching to see. Gold? like your ***barred word*** forefathers did when they came to Gold Coast. What is there to see in SE Washington DC. Lots of killing, poverty and pure filth, and that is a stone throw from 1600 Penn Ave. Stop spilling ***barred word***. We don't even want you here! Such IMPUDENCE!!!
I've read the full storey in the link provided at the bottom of this piece. Never have I read such a biased untruthful article about this country like this one. This white journalist actually claims people here mostly haven't seen a white person before and were poking at her all the time .Not True. Why do some white folks hate Africa and its denizens so much. Nobody asked her to come here. But then sadly come to think of it a lot of what she said is true. Long years of neglect, corruption, ineptitude has brought us here. Somewhere in our developmental agenda we've had a large army of illiterate and semi literates and that compounds our problems.
what did peacefmonline gained by posting this bias article.
She won't even be welcomed here if she tries to come back cos it's very biased thing to insinuate that nothing in Ghana is good or worthy. Stay in your country where you enjoy everything. As far as I know, in that your country where you hail from, there are beggars, drug peddlers, gun-downs, runs, etc. Ghana will fight for its own and things will be okay. Fuck off!
