The Communications Director at the Presidency, Koku Anyidoho says the tantrums of Nana Addo, Flagbearer of the opposition NPP will not frighten any Ghanaian other than Nana Addo himself. According to him, Nana Addo declaring all-die-be-die and recently stating that at all cost the NPP must win election 2012 shows how desperate he is to become President of Ghana. He opined that nothing will happen to Ghanaians after the 2012 elections because the elections will be free and fair. Nana Addo who came under severe criticisms, mainly from the ruling party, after declaring all-die-be-die was reported to have also said that the NPP should at all cost win the 2012. Reacting to comments by the New Patriotic Party flagbearer at the castle on Wednesday, President Mills charged the Electoral Commission to ensure clean and fair elections. He cautioned that the government will not countenance any lawlessness in the 2012 elections. Speaking to Asempa Fm�s Ekosii-sen Wednesday, Koku Anyidoho noted that because Nana Addo cannot match President Mills on an issued-based campaign, he is resorting to violent speeches such as the 'all-die-be-die'. �I want to tell Nana Addo and his allies who have aimed at troubling the 2012 elections that nothing will happen in Ghana. Let the NPP be aware that nothing will happen to any Ghanaian so they should be clear on that� he added. He stated that Ghanaians will by all means vote against Nana Addo so he should be prepared to accept defeat in 2012. �What does Nana Addo mean 'by all means NPP should win 2012?' Does he think we are playing in the country, nobody will have time for him,� he asserted. He admonished the flagbearer of the biggest opposition party, NPP, to change his campaign strategy and focus on issue-based campaign or else Ghanaians will reject him feverishly in 2012. He debunked critics' assertions that President Mills should not have responded to Nana Addo�s comment, saying it also forms part of the commitment in ensuring that the 2012 election is free. He hinted that President Mills will be going on leave after his state visits to the United States and Canada within the next few weeks.
