We Can't Be Complacent nor Conceited, We Need To Spread the Good News - NPP Supporters Told

Yaw Adomako Baafi, a member of the National Communications Team for the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) has urged all party supporters not to be conceited nor be complacent, thinking that the December polls is a done deal for the party.

Adomako Baafi opined that, although the NPP has so many success stories, the party cannot decide to relent on hard work and hope that the electorates will vote for them come December 7, 2024.

He made this call during a radio interview with Kwame Nkrumah Tikese on Okay FM’s 'Ade Akye Abia' morning show on Thursday, May 9, 2024.

“If we all see the numerous projects undertaken and completed by the Akufo-Addo/Bawumia-led government, you will be amazed. If you consider the massive road construction projects the government has implemented you will be completely shocked. All these projects are visible by everyone.”

“All regions have received a fair share of their developmental projects and it is testament of the good works of the NPP government led by Akufo-Addo and Bawumia. Realising all these wonderful works done by our government does not mean we should be complacent thinking that we have arrived. There are a lot more we can do for the country Ghana and the people there in,” he stressed.

Speaking further, Mr. Baafi mentioned that, the opposition party is not an option Ghanaians must consider because, there were so many projects the Kufuor administration started but could not complete with the assurance that when the NDC comes to power, all the projects will be completed since governance is continuous according to our democracy. According to him, the NDC government left most of the projects unattended to.

“The NPP government had to return to power to execute all the stalled projects under the leadership of Akufo-Addo and Bawumia. We left projects like the Legon Stadium, Kumawu hospital, some regional and district hospitals have all been completed by the Akufo-Addo administration.”

“These are the good news we need to propagate to the ordinary Ghanaian. If we sit and think that Ghanaians already know of the things we have done, we will be mistaking,” he concluded.
