I Don't Believe In 24-hour Economy, But 24-hour Shift for Workers - Nana Kwame Bediako

Founder of the New Force and presidential hopeful Nana Kwame Bediako, popularly known as Freedom Jacob Caesar, has opined that he does not agree to the 24-hour economy policy that is being propagated by the flagbearer of the National Democratic Congress, John Dramani Mahama.

Cheddar mentioned that, instead of having a 24-hour economy, he would rather champion a 24-hour shift system for workers.

He said, “I don’t agree to a 24-hour economy; I agree to 24-hour shifts if we have the power; the 24-hour shift work will happen best for industrialization.”

In an exclusive interview on TV3 on Monday, March 25, the leader of the New Force said his government will tackle the actual needs of Ghanaians.

Speaking about his industrialization campaign, Freedom Jacob Caesar noted that the industrialization revolution is the way to go in planting Ghana on the path of transformation.

According to him, the industrial revolution will create job opportunities for the teeming youth of the country who are without jobs.

He added that the research he has done while embarking on regional tours in Ghana revealed that over 60 percent of the youth are without jobs.

He said, “Over 60 percent of the people are unemployed; we want to embark on an industrial revolution that we want to put in the region.

“This is the 16th industrial revolution, and whatever resources the country has should be shared equitably.”

He describes himself as the one with the master plan that will change Ghana’s economic status when he is voted into office in December 2024.

“I am a developer, I am an industrialist, I a visionary, i am a humanitarian philanthropist, I am an entrepreneur, go and bring someone who has all these credentials and credibility, I have all these, and I want to share because the value of the knowledge is to be shared,” he told journalists in Kumasi.

He had also indicated that “I’m that man with a good purpose and a great vision. I have a plan, and I have a vision for this nation. And not only for this nation; I have it for Africa too.

He added, “But I know Africa is the next biggest thing because out of all the continents that have been developed in this world, there is only one continent that is not developed and I am sent to do that.”
