Sports Minister Announces Venues For The 2023 African Games
The Minister for Youth and Sports, Mustapha Ussif has confirmed the venues for each Sporting discipline of the Accra 2023 African Games.
The African Games started on Monday March 4, 2024 with table tennis but the games officially kicks off on Friday, March 8, 2024.
Ghana has constructed multi-purpose Sports facilities for the games at Borteyman and at the University of Ghana but a number of Sports disciplines will take place outside these venues.
Ghana is hosting the African Games for the first time in the history of the country.
Addressing the press at the "Ministerial Meet the Press" in Accra, Mustapha Ussif announced the venues for each Sports going on in the capital.
Below is the list of Sports disciplines and their venues:
