Social Commentator, Bernard Allotey Jacobs, has asserted that Dr. Mahamadu Bawumia's "Bold Solutions" vision lecture is a total rejection of the former finance Minister, Ken Ofori-Atta. 

The veteran politician noted that, the speech delivered by the flagbearer and leader of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) clearly spelt out his disagreement to some of the policies implemented by the outgoing Finance Minister, Ken Ofori-Atta. 

Speaking on Peace FM's "Kokrokoo" Morning Show, Mr. Allotey Jacobs said, ''It is good for his government and his party. It will change the perception that people do have about this government and the NPP. And it will even motivate the rank and file of the NPP members to make sure that they break the eight because if you observe the speech from Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, it is a rejection of the minister for finance. There is no two ways about it''.

''Ken Ofori Atta should have appended his signature to a resignation letter right after Bawumia's speech. If Bawumia could boldly state that if he is elected President, he will abolish 13 taxes, it is a rejection of your leadership at that ministry and I expect Ken to know this about politics," he added.
