I Expected Bawumia To Apologize To Ghanaians - Nana Ofori

Nana Ofori Owusu has impressed on Vice President of the Republic, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia to render an apology to the nation.

According to him, the Vice President is to be blame for the bad governance of the Akufo-Addo administration as much and equal as the President is being lashed over his performance.

Assessing Dr. Bawumia’s promises to Ghanaians, Nana Ofori questioned his intention and attempt to distance himself from some policies undertaken under his government.

Singling out Dr. Bawumia’s pledge to eliminate E-Levy, Nana Ofori slammed the Vice President for overseeing its implementation in the first place.

"As a leader, if things are not going well, you must stand up and be accounted for. We must hear your voice. We must know that this is how you hold the fort and have the necessary influence to change the cause of these things that you are aware are not good”, he remarked.

"It's better to accept and apologize. I expected that, in the beginning of the speech, he would have apologized for some of the things that has not gone well [sic] and then he goes on to lay his platforms and then he will take corrective measures actions on many of those things",
he insisted.

Nana Ofori Owusu gave these comments on Peace FM’s “Kokrokoo” morning show.
