Francis Asenso-Boakye has retained his seat as Parliament candidate for Bantama Constituency in the Ashanti Region for the second time.
 
The win in the primary organised on Saturday reports that Asenso-Boakye won comfortably with 650 votes as against his opponent Ralph Agyapong with 181 with a total vote cast of 877 votes.

Earlier tensions flared between Francis Asenso-Boakye and his opponent Ralph Agyapong but the situation was calmed by the police officer at the scene.
