Celestine Donkor Advocates For More Female Collaborations In Gospel Music

Celestine Donkor, an acclaimed Ghanaian gospel artist, has sparked a crucial conversation regarding the lack of collaborations among top female gospel musicians.

In her remarks, Celestine highlighted the contrast between Gospel and secular music scenes.

"It is very rare to witness top female Gospel artistes collaborating with each other, unlike their counterparts in the secular music industry who frequently feature one another" she noted

Celestine Donkor further stressed the need for unity and collective effort among Gospel musicians.

"No song collaboration that has two or more top female Gospel artistes comes to mind right now if I try to recount," she emphasized during a recent interview with Halifax Ansah-Addo on Okay FM.

Celestine Donkor recently released a new single titled "What Shall I Render," a heartfelt thanksgiving song celebrating the Lord for His continuous goodness throughout the year. Notably, this track features the esteemed Gospel artiste Obaapa Christy, marking a significant step towards fostering collaboration and solidarity among female voices within the Gospel music industry.

The decision to collaborate with Obaapa Christy on her latest release reflects Celestine Donkor's commitment to breaking the barriers and encouraging more joint projects among leading female Gospel artists.
