Alleged Notorious Landguard Captain Abu Remanded By Court
The Accra Circuit Court 4 has remanded the alleged notorious landguard popularly known as Captain Abu who had been terrorizing the people of Borteyman in the Greater Accra region.
He was arrested by the East Legon Police on Tuesday, November 21, 2023 after frantic efforts to secure his arrests had failed on several occasions, including a bench warrant.
He was then transferred to the Greater Accra Regional Police Command on Thursday, where he was processed and arraigned before the Accra Circuit Court on Friday, November 24.
The Circuit Court of the Accra has since placed him on remand pending a hearing on December 8, 2023.
