Bernard Allotey Jacobs, a former NDC stalwart, has appealed to members of the New Patriotic Party and the entire voting population of the country to choose Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia to lead Ghana, as, to him, the latter will cause major transformation in the country.

Speaking on Peace FM's morning show "Kokrokoo" in relation to the New Patriotic Party's November 4 flagbearer election, Allotey Jacobs strongly believed the Vice President stands tall among his competitors.

He touted Dr. Bawumia to possessing magnetic qualities, saying "there are made leaders and there are born leaders...and you will realize that Bawumia is a born leader. He's born to lead the people...There's a kind of magnet around Bawumia that attracts people to him. It is so unique".

Allotey assured the citizenry that their vote for Bawumia to be president will never go to waste, stressing that "he will implement his vision" for the nation.

Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia will be going into a head-to-head contest on Saturday, November 4, with Member of Parliament for Assin Central, Kennedy Ohene Agyapong, former Agriculture Minister, Dr. Owusu Afriyie-Akoto, and a former presidential aspirant, Thomas Addai Nimoh.

The fate of Dr. Bawumia and the others will be determined by over 200,000 delegates expected to vote on the election day.

Ghanaians, however, look forward to a promised showdown between Kennedy Agyapong and Dr. Bawumia who are the favorites in the contest.
