You Don't Have Monopoly Over Information...Don't Let Me Expose You! - Ken Agyapong Warned

Fred Opare-Ansah has warned Assin Central MP and presidential hopeful Kennedy Agyapong to concentrate on his campaign message and stop pointing fingers at his competitors in the New Patriotic Party's flagbearer race.

Mr. Opare-Ansah, obviously unhappy about the various accusations by Ken Agyapong specifically leveled against his main contender, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, nearly revealed deep secrets about Ken Agyapong while speaking on Peace FM's "Kokrokoo" show Monday morning, but for the host, Nana Yaw Kesseh, who cautioned him to bottle it up.

However, the former Member of Parliament for Suhum and a member of the Bawumia campaign team spewed a little information, supposedly to expose Ken's deception.

He noted that Kennedy Agyapong is painting a gloomy picture of him being maltreated in the New Patriotic Party but he has benefited more than any member of the party.

"You have benefited more than everyone, but you want the ordinary person to feel you are fighting for him. If we start exposing information about you like sitting here, I would have revealed that you are Ghana Gas Chairman; your wife is Shippers Authority Chairman; and your son is lifting oil at BOST," he said and warned Ken "to understand that he has no monopoly over information in this country".

"Don't muddy the waters simply because the thing didn't go in the direction you want," Fred Opare-Ansah further cautioned and admonished Ken to "tell people what you have done with that power that is in your hands in the interim. Don't go around spreading falsehood and lies about other candidates".

"One person, you are fighting the President. You are fighting the Vice President. You are fighting Members of Parliament. You're fighting party executives at all levels. You're threatening the delegates at the base of the party...Why?",
he fumed.
