'It's Not Deliberate That We're Facing Serious Economic Challenges' - Salam Mustapha To #OccupyJulorbiHouse Protesters

National Youth Organizer of the ruling New Patriotic Party, Salam Mustapha has sent a message to the #OccupyJulorbiHouse demonstrators and every Ghanaian who is unhappy with President Akufo-Addo's administration to note that the current economic problems are not deliberate but rather occasioned by global crises.

According to him, what Ghanaians are going through is not peculiar to this country but also happening in other parts of the world.

"It is not deliberate that we are facing serious economic challenges," he said on Peace FM's morning show "Kokrokoo" while tackling the 3-day #OccupyJulorbiHouse demonstration.

"It is not the supposed incompetence in managing the situation that has occasioned the difficulties," he added.

Salam Mustapha however called on Ghanaians to be firm in their confidence in President Nana Addo and his government, stressing their economic woes shall not last.

"I have absolute confidence and trust in how our leaders are working for us to recover," he told host Kwami Sefa Kayi.
