Let's Join Hands To Stop Environmental Pollution - EPA Boss Appeals To Ghanaians

The Chief Executive Officer of the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), Henry Kwabena Kokofu has cautioned Ghanaians against any form of environmental pollution.

Henry Kokofu, speaking on Peace FM's "Kokrokoo" show, bemoaned the noise pollution and other practices that destroy the environment.

He charged the citizenry to cooperate with the EPA by doing the right thing.

The EPA boss, in advising the citizens not to pollute the environment, tackled some issues before his office regarding some companies operating at unauthorized areas or without permit and people building houses on the Aburi mountains as well as other hilly areas among other environmental transgressions.

He warned that these practices pose a serious threat to the society and called on the persons involved to stop it or consult with the EPA to find out about whether or not where they are erecting their structures is permissible by law and the agency.

"Let us put our hands together and solve all these environmental infractions", he advised.
